Heroes
Heroes are your main source of combat power in Era of Valor.
Everything you do in Hunt, Bosses, and Rankings depends on how strong your heroes are and how well you invest in them.

Hero Growth Systems
Heroes can be improved through several systems:
- Level Up
- Star Up
- Equipment
- Active abilities
- Passive abilities
Each system contributes to power in a different way. Levels improve core stats, stars increase long-term potential, equipment adds additional strength, and abilities shape how heroes perform.
Level Up
Leveling up uses resources such as Gold and Blue Orbs.
Each level increases important stats, including:
- Health
- Damage
- Overall combat performance

Early on, levels are one of the most reliable ways to push further in Hunt.
Star Up
Star Up requires hero fragments.
Some heroes are locked at the beginning and can be unlocked later by collecting enough fragments. Fragments are connected to systems such as hero progression, summons, shop offers, and social features.
Star upgrades are usually more limited than basic leveling, so use fragments carefully.
Equipment
Equipment gives heroes additional power and can help break progression walls.
When deciding where equipment should go, prioritize the heroes that carry your main Hunt and Boss progress.
Active and Passive Abilities
Abilities expand what your heroes can do.
- Active abilities usually affect direct combat actions.
- Passive abilities improve performance in the background or add persistent bonuses.
Summon is one of the key ways to obtain or improve ability options.
Early Upgrade Advice
Do not upgrade every hero equally at the start.
Instead:
- Choose your strongest or most useful heroes.
- Keep them ahead in level.
- Give them the best available equipment.
- Use summons to improve your roster.
- Revisit weaker heroes later when resources are more stable.
Focused upgrades usually produce better progress than spreading resources too thin.
